The main thing nowadays is the issue of "peace" everywhere in the world. When I attend international programs I am asked if my people are terrorists, as though all Muslims especially Pakistanis are terrorists. Really I’m very upset and disheartened now by hearing this from a lot of people and even very well educated people. We in Pakistan are peacekeepers. We believe in peace.

I belong to the Sindh [culture], which is made up of a community of loving and caring people. Actually, it was in my Sindh village where an older man first inspired me. He was known [in my village] for helping others without asking for anything in return. One day I asked this man, “why do you help others without asking to be compensated”? He replied softly, “ young man I do all that I do, not to be rewarded, but I am doing all this to service humanity”. ( read more)

What inspires me? "People," inspire me. I often find myself closely examining the actions of others; more specifically, I pay closer attention to the traits and habits I wish to adopt in my own life, which in turn will make me a better person.
